SHARON LOCK BA TEXTILE ARTIST

Sharon has a fascination with interpreting and emulating the richness of the past and the ravages of time. To produce relics of things that might have been, when we talk about inspiration for textiles.
We often think of something visual – colours, patterns or texture, but for her, there is another way, words, (literature) are the inspiration behind her work, which some might find ironic as she herself is dyslexic. Shoran

JENEFER HAM

Distinctive, vibrant glass to adorn & enhance your windowsills, walls, and wardrobe. Jenefer is interested in how colors and textures interact within the glass. Mainly self-taught, her style developed as she focused on capturing light within the layers and colors of glass. She work’s with sheets of colored glass, layering many shapes and colors in one-off, original designs, then fusing them at 800°C in her kiln. Carefully controlled cooling relieves internal stresses, ensuring a durable finished piece.
Most pieces go through several kiln cycles, as I shape the piece or add more layers of glass.
