Weekly Classes

Act One Youth Theatre
Discover drama in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with our experienced and inspirational tutors. The sessions include theatre games and exercises and there is the opportunity to participate in regular performances in the Havant Arts Centre Theatre.
Mondays 4.30pm – 5.45pm (Juniors) 7-11 years
Tuesdays 4.30pm – 5.45pm (Juniors) 7-11 years
Tuesdays 6pm – 7.15pm (Seniors) 12-16 years
Thursdays 4.30pm – 5.45pm (Seniors) 12-16 years
Thursdays 6pm – 7.15pm (Act Two) 16-18 years

Art Splash
The perfect introduction to art & craft for little ones with a dash of drama and movement to add to the fun.
Saturdays 10am -11am
5-8 years

Art Unlimited
Does your child have artistic talent? This is a weekly session for children who love to draw, paint and be creative. The sessions are well structured and offer the oppor-tunity to try different media and styles of working which school classes don’t have time to teach. Great for all those budding artists.
Saturdays 11.30am –12.30pm
9 –13 year olds

Hip Hop
Hip Hop dance sessions introduce members to different MTV street dance styles. Lock’in and Pop’in, freestyle and funk are just some of the funky dance styles in this fun and dynamic class.
Wednesdays 5pm - 6pm 14+ years with some experience
Thursdays 4pm - 5pm 7-10 years – hip hop juniors class
Thursdays 5pm - 6pm 9-14 years beginners
Thursdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm 14+ with some experience
Saturdays 5.30pm – 6.30pm 14+ years – hip hop squad (by invitation)

Hip Hop Youth Dance Show
A variety of different dance styles including hip hop, street dance, freestyle,
musical theatre, tap and ballet.

Mini Moves
Mini Moves introduces children to different dance styles and explores movement through a creative environment. In each class the children will be warmed up and then learn to create dances using different dance styles. Children learn balance, co-ordination and rhythm in a safe and fun surrounding.
Fridays 4.30pm – 5.30pm
5-8 years

Junior Moves
Junior Moves is a creative dance group which allows members to explore different dance styles whilst developing performance skills. Members will be introduced to the professional world of dance and will be encouraged to learn through fun! This class will teach you co-ordination, creative skills and will develop confidence.
Fridays 5.45pm – 6.45pm
8-12 years

New Motion Dance Company
Auditioned for once per year New Motion members meet weekly to create con-temporary dance pieces with professional dance artists and companies.
Thursdays 7pm – 8.30pm
14+ years (by audition)

Rock School
Want to make it in a rock band? Sing in a pop group, play the guitar, bash the drums? Come along and make some sounds.

Wednesdays
4.30pm - 5.30pm 9-12 years
5.45pm – 6.45pm 13-16 years

Rock School Gig Night
No boring old rock covers versions here. The Freshest, The Newest, Hot Rock ‘n Roll Bands on the South Coast.

Strictly Dance
A bang up to date Latin and ballroom fun based class for all levels. This class will develop performance skills and teach you to dance like the celebrities.
