To download Havant Arts Centre’s brand new HAC Spring 2008 season brochure please click on the link (less than 1MB pdf file). Tickets for the new season events and activities are now on sale - please call the Box Office on 023 9247 2700. Shows are currently being added to the website and most will be available to book online very soon.

The Spring ‘08 brochure is jam-packed full of exciting shows and many opportunities to take part in activities. My advice is to book early as we expect shows such as Potted Potter (Theatre, p6) and Steve Knightley (Acoustic Music, p14) to sell out quickly. For children there is a great event entitled Claytime (Children’s Theatre, p13), - this is a unique chance to take part in an ingenious show and make a clay character (maximum of 50 children’s seats per show).

We also offer art, ceramics, photography and dance classes as well as activities such as yoga, pole dance for fitness and pilates sessions for adults (p32-p35). For children we have regular weekly term time classes and holiday workshops (p36-40).

HAC also has a number of unique events including an Art & Wine Party (p29), a St. Patricks Party Night (p15), a fundraising Auction and Music & Dance Community Fundraiser (p41) and Read Me (part of the May Days Arts Trail, p30-31).

Please note the benefits of membership of the Arts Centre - as well as discounted tickets there are also opportunities to meet other members over cheese and wine before a range of shows (p41). If you would like to become a member of ‘Screen Idols’ (p22); simply call the Box Office on 023 9247 2700 or you can pop into the centre to pick up a screen idol card.

And please don’t forget that you can book food with shows on jazz, blues and comedy nights. Look out for the classical busker once per month on Saturday lunchtimes (p25).

Finally, if you book your professional theatre tickets online you can save £2 on your purchases.

I would like to wish all of our customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Centre Director
